What is its purpose?
The AutoSlasher fills a gap in the market of automated lawn mowers. There are many machines available for domestic yards (which work great, in the right environment) however, we found that there was nothing suitable on the market for Aussies with small to medium sized acreage, sure there are robotic mowers which claim they can cover a few acres, but in reality, they aren’t suitable for most properties of that size. The first encounter or a stick, animal dropping, uneven terrain, steep slopes or long grass, and these toys give up.
Quite literally, most of these common autonomous mowers wont even mulch a gum leaf, some will even drive around one! When you are living on proper acreage, this is not a solution, its a gimmick.
Weighing in at a whopping 350kg, powered by a 27hp, 810cc V-Twin from Briggs & Stratton, the AutoSlasher is different. It can easily mulch small sticks and debris, handle thick & tall grass all whilst navigating steep slopes and rough terrain.
It’s properly designed to get the job done, purpose built for real Australian acreage paddocks, not manicured lawns.
There is no perfect machine for every paddock..
We know, it sounds too good to be true, and in some cases it is.
The AutoSlasher isn’t the perfect machine for every paddock, if you are dealing with a single acre, its probably overkill, and if you’ve got more than 30 acres, that’s starting to push it.
The sweet spot which the AutoSlasher was designed around was 2-30 acres, this is typically a property which it too big to enjoy doing with a ride-on mower, and probably too small to justify purchasing an expensive tractor and slasher setup. Small to medium sized acreage like hobby farms or lifestyle blocks are the ideal candidate for our machine.

Traditional autonomous mowers wouldn’t dream of slashing a paddock like this small cattle farm, but the AutoSlasher does it with ease.
Most of the common autonomous mowers are designed for manicured lawns, not acreage. They’ll spend their days trimming the tips off already short grass with small swing-back razor blades, then returning to their dock to recharge, before repeating the process day after day.
That kind of setup simply doesn’t work on a cattle farm. Livestock need grass to feed on, not a freshly manicured lawn. Beyond that, the terrain itself common to Australian acreage is a challenge, uneven ground, fallen sticks, animal droppings, scotch thistles, and fast-growing weeds quickly stop most of these toys in their tracks.
The AutoSlasher is built for exactly these conditions, Australian paddocks, not perfect lawns.

Safety & confidence on steep & rough terrain.
Designed with an ultra-low centre of gravity, the AutoSlasher can operate safely in any orientation on slopes up to 45°.
Slopes up to 60° can be mowed when the machine is orientated with counterweight uphill.
By removing the operator from being physically present on the machine, the risk from roll-over accidents is greatly reduced. The remote controlled system also means that areas with difficult access can be more easily managed.

By including our +Automation Add-On with your machine, you’ll retain all of the remote controlled functions, with the addition of the fully automatic mowing functions.
The machine’s automated guidance system does not require any form of Wi-Fi or 4/5g internet connection.
To operate the machine automatically, simply turn on both the remote & machine, select the desired mission, and follow the prompts to begin.
Once started, the remote can be switched off, and the operator is free to do something else whilst the mowing is completed autonomously, although general supervision is advised under most circumstances.

Delivery & installation
If you buy an AutoSlasher with the +Automation Add-On, installation is included in the sale price.
This means one of our technicians will personally attend your property to deliver the machine, as well as install and calibrate the base station to best suit your property.
The technician will then digitally map out your properties features, including trees, fences, roads, buildings, garden beds and all other obstacles.
Step 2
Mission planning
The technician will then use the data mapped from your property in our mission planning software.
Your property will be digitally split into different sections, exclusion zones and missions, exactly as you’d like it.
The machines every move will be fine tuned. The order of events, the orientation of every cut and the timing of every turn is all meticulously adapted to perfectly suit your property.
You will also receive step by step training on this process, should you wish to modify the missions in the future.

The AutoSlasher is built around two core values, power & efficiency.
Its operating costs are significantly lower than traditional ride-on or manual mowers due to reduced labor. Maintenance costs are also significantly reduced thanks to the hybrid drivetrain, (no hydrostatic system) the electric direct drive system is basically maintenance free. -
The fuel range depends on the task at hand, with a whopping 810cc V-Twin powering the blades, at full throttle it has the ability to slash any type and length of grass, but this comes at a trade-off of lowered fuel range.
On reasonably well maintained grass, the engine can be run at just above idle RPM. Thanks to the direct-drive blade system design, even at relatively low engine RPM’s, the blade tip speed of the machine is still comparable to a traditional ride on machine.
The maximum range of the AutoSlasher in ideal conditions is around 6 acres per 15L tank of fuel.

The remote provides reliable control up to 300 meters.
With the Automation Add-On, the navigation computing is done on the machine, rather than the remote.
The remote is not required to remain connected to the machine to complete automated missions, the machine only must stay within range of the base station, which has 10km line of sight range.

With great power comes great responsibility….
It is not a good idea to let kids or pets play near an AutoSlasher while it’s running, weighing around 350kg and outputting a massive 27hp, this is not your standard autonomous mower, its a proper machine.
This isn’t a small plastic mower built for suburban lawns. It doesn’t use flimsy razor blades which fold backwards when striking a leaf, it is built to handle rough terrain, thick grass, and large areas that regular robot mowers can’t manage, this also means that if its used irresponsibly, it can cause serious harm or damage.
Because of that, it should always be used with care, awareness, and common sense. When used the right way, it gets the job done safely, but it’s not something to treat like a toy.
